I’ve been writing stories since childhood, but it took me 40 years to publish my highly acclaimed debut novel, Renaissance Mann. That journey taught me something profound: every struggle, every setback, and every triumph carries within it the seeds of a greater story. My next book, Mr. Territaff: Dark Matters, continues that unfolding journey, one that reflects both the chaos of our world and the possibility of transformation.
I write science fiction because it allows me to explore the deepest questions of the human spirit through alien eyes and distant worlds. Within my stories, heroes wrestle with violence, injustice, and despair, yet they also embody our timeless search for peace, meaning, and harmony. To me, these are not just tales of survival, but of awakening reminders that even in the darkest places, light can be found.
Writing saved me through a difficult childhood, a broken marriage, and even cancer. It became a way to connect with something greater, to channel both pain and wonder into worlds that inspire. My hope is that when you step into my books, you don’t just journey to strange and exotic places, you feel a spark of your own inner universe coming alive.

Coming this winter, a collection of stories for YA readers and new fiction for all readers.
The first collection is entitled Stories from the Cafe at the Edge of the Universe. It’s a work in progress.
Also, the 3rd book of the Territaff series, The Vultaran Dilemma, is in production and (hopefully)
will be in distribution next year.

Renaissance Mann is a thrilling sci-fi novel that masterfully combines elements of a AI uncontrolled future with the enduring power of love. Set against a backdrop of global catastrophe—a deadly virus, an all-encompassing war, and the rise of a rogue AI—this story captures the essence of what it means to be human when everything else seems lost.

Renaissance Mann is all about a human Phil trying to help some aliens fight off a deadly nanovirus and rival aliens at the same time. For everything happening in this book, there is also a lot of good action that readers will enjoy reading about! Readers get a chance to see what happens to Phil first before he falls into a deep sleep and ends up on an alien ship meeting up with an alien named Nickada or Nicki! Nicki is helping Phil every step of the way in this new world for Phil, and even explaining to Phil all the the problems Venubia is having.

This an epic intergalactic novel following Phillip Mann’s life as an enhanced humanoid. The book is divided into five parts, each detailing events that impacted Phil significantly. The author gives Phil’s perception to make him easy to relate to. I found the androids being capable of expressing emotion and almost forgot they were not human. A ship capable of talking to you like a living entitiy added even more enterainment and intrigue. Definitely worth reading. I recommend mature fans of science fiction stories with romance and a sarcastic protagonist to pick this up.
I didn’t expect to be so pulled in by Renaissance Mann, but here I am — still thinking about it after finishing. What starts off feeling like a wild sci-fi setup — a man wakes up on an alien ship after dying in a car crash — slowly unfolds into something a lot deeper than you’d expect.
The main character, Phil, is… well, kind of all of us. Confused, grieving, trying to figure out who he is in this bizarre new world. But instead of just surviving, he ends up being rebuilt — literally and emotionally — and thrust into this mission to help save an alien race on the edge of collapse. Sounds big, and it is. But it’s also personal.
